Matte Transitions

Got one of our matte transitions bundles or looking for a guide to set up your own? Use this step-by-step guide to easily setup your transitions in the software of your liking.

Streamlabs OBS

1. Press the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your scene list
2. Press the "Add Transition" button
3. Give your transition a name in the "Name" field
4. Press the "Type" field and choose "Stinger"
5. Choose your transition in the "Video File" field
6. Click on the "Use a Track Matte" box 
7. Choose "Mask Only" in the "Matte Layout" field and press "Done"
8. Your transition will appear in the general list of transitions. Activate it by pressing the circle on the left side and press "Done"
9. Success! Your matte transition is set up and ready to use

OBS Studio 

1. Press the dropdown menu under the "Scene Transitions" bar
2. Choose "Add: Stinger" and give your transition a name
3. Choose your transition in the "Video File" field
4. Click on the "Use a Track Matte" box 
5. Choose "Mask Only" in the "Matte Layout" field and press "OK"
6. Awesome! Your matte transition is ready to use
