Portal Transition

Thanks for purchasing Portal Stinger Transition

Here are some basic instructions on how to set everything up.

Streamlabs OBS

  1. Press the gear icon in the upper-right corner of your scene
  2. Press the "Add Transition" button
  3. Give your transition a name in the "Name" field
  4. Press the "Type" field and choose "Stinger"
  5. Press on the "Video File" field
  6. Navigate to the "\2. Individual Files\Transition" folder
  7. Select the transition (No sound, Low, Medium, or Loud volume option) and press "Open"
  8. Choose "Time (milliseconds)" in the "Transition Point Type" field
  9. Set your transition point to 1000 milliseconds in the corresponding field
  10. Check the box "Use a Track Matte"
  11. In the Matte Layout field select "Same file, side-by-side (stinger on the left, track matte on the right)" option.
  12. Configure audio settings if your transition has it and press the "Done" button("Monitor and Output" setting allows both you and your stream viewers to hear the sound)
  13. Your stinger will appear in the general list of transitions. Activate it by pressing the circle on the left side and press "Done"
  14. Success! Your stinger transition is set up

OBS Studio

  1. Press the + button under the "Scene Transitions" bar
  2. Choose "Stinger" and give your transition a name
  3. Press on the "Video File" field
  4. Browse to "\2. Individual Files\Transition" folder
  5. Select your transition (No sound, Low, Medium, or Loud volume option) and press "Open"
  6. Choose "Time (milliseconds)" in the "Transition Point Type" field
  7. Set your transition point to 1000 milliseconds in the corresponding field
  8. Check the box "Use a Track Matte"
  9. In the Matte Layout field select "Same file, side-by-side (stinger on the left, track matte on the right)" option.
  10. Configure audio settings if your transition has it and press the "OK" button("Monitor and Output" setting allows both you and your stream viewers to hear the sound)
  11. Awesome! Your stinger transition is ready to use
