Customizing Labels
Each Stream Package comes with labels that you can customize to your liking and use for any purpose.
Here's a little step-by-step guide on how to set everything up:
Text Label
Streamlabs OBS
- Open the "Extras" Scene of your Stream Package
- Open the "Text Label" folder and copy the "Label" source
- Go to the scene where you want to place your label
- Right-click on the "Sources" section and press "Paste (Reference)"
- Go back to the "Extras" Scene, hold SHIFT and click on "Custom Icon" and "Text" sources
- Copy these sources and go back to your scene
- Right-click on the "Sources" section and press "Paste (Duplicate)"
- Double-click on the "Custom Icon", choose the one you like, and press "Done"
- Double-click on the "Text" and customize the parameters
- Done! Your label is ready to use
OBS Studio
- Open the "Extras" Scene of your Stream Package
- Right-click on "Text Label" and press "Copy"
- Go to the scene where you want to place your label
- Right-click on the "Sources" section and press "Paste (Duplicate)"
Open the folder of the copied label and choose the icon you want
You can find additional icons in "\3. Individual Files\Icons\Icons_300x300"
- Double-click on the "Text" and customize the parameters
- Done! Your label is ready to use
Interactive Label
OBS Studio
In order for interactive labels to work appropriately in OBS Studio you’ll need to use either Stream Labels by Streamlabs or Streamlabels by Streamelements.
Streamlabs Stream Labels
Go to your Streamlabs dashboard and open the “All Widgets” tab
Scroll down until you find the Stream Labels widget in the list
Then you have to download and install it on your PC
Open the Stream Labels App and select the folder for your text labels. We recommend using our preconfigured folder located in your purchased pack "2. Quick Install\OBS Studio\Interactive Labels" to keep things clean.
- Now it's time to open your OBS Studio.
- Go to the "Extras" Scene of your Stream Package
- Right-click on "Interactive Label" and press "Copy"
- Go to the scene where you want to place your label
- Right-click on the "Sources" section and press "Paste (Duplicate)"
- Open the folder of the copied label and choose the icon you want you can find additional icons in "\3. Individual Files\Icons\Icons_300x300"
- Double-click on "Interactive Text"
- Tick the "Read from file" box
- Press "Browse" near the "Text File (UTF-8)" field
- Head over to "2. Quick Install\OBS Studio\Interactive Labels" or the folder you’ve set in Streamlabs Stream Labels and choose the type of interactive label that you want to use
- Customize the parameters of the text by your liking
StreamElements Labels
Open your Streamelements Dashboard and head off to the Overlays tab
Create a new overlay and add a widget to it
Now open the labels section and pick the one you need
A text label will appear on the screen. Now you can configure your font, color, and other text settings.
When you’re finished editing your label click the “Save” button in the top right corner and give it a name
- Open your OBS studio and go to the "Extras" Scene
- Right-click on "Interactive Label" and press "Copy"
- Go to the scene where you want to place your label
- Right-click on the "Sources" section and press "Paste (Duplicate)"
- Open the folder of the copied label and choose the icon you want you can find additional icons in "\3. Individual Files\Icons\Icons_300x300"
Now add a new Browser Source by clicking a “+” button in your sources tab
- Give it a name and press “Ok”
Copy the URL of your StreamElements overlay
Now paste the URL of the Overlay you’ve copied and press ok
- Customize the size and position of your browser source
- Done! Your Streamelements label is ready to use!
Streamlabs OBS
- Open the "Extras" Scene of your Stream Package
- Open the "Interactive Label" folder and copy the "Label" source
- Go to the scene where you want to place your label
- Right-click on the "Sources" section and press "Paste (Reference)"
- Go back to the "Extras" Scene, hold SHIFT and click on "Custom Icon" and "Interactive Text" sources
- Copy these sources and go back to your scene
- Right-click on the "Sources" section and press "Paste (Duplicate)"
- Double-click on the "Custom Icon", choose the one you like, and press "Done"
- Double-click on "Interactive Text"
- Choose the type of label in a corresponding field
- Customize the parameters of text
- Done! Your label is ready to use
